Welder training
Created for all
levels of experience
Our weld training program consists of hands-on welding classes through our interactive workshops. It’s an exciting training program that will prepare you to launch your welding career in just ten weeks.

Our weld training program is designed as a combination of hands-on welding experience and classroom theory. A great way to learn welding for all levels of experience.
We account for many individual skill levels, from the beginner to the advanced welder. Welding is a skill to be developed, and at Precision, we focus on individual practice to attain that skill. Each of our students get hands on training every hour for the entirety of their course. We believe this aids in our ability to consistantly produce highly skilled welders that are more than qualified to enter into the industrial workforce.
What students will learn
Shielded Metal Arc Welding
Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) is also commonly called ‘stick’ welding. In SMAW, the electrode is a metal rod or stick held in the torch with a small clamp. The rod has a solid coating of inert materials which vaporizes as you weld. This creates an inert cloud or gases which protect the molten metal and displace any oxygen that might come into contact with it.

Gas Tungsten Arc Welding
GTAW is a process which uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode to produce the weld. It is most commonly used to weld thin sections of stainless steel and non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, magnesium, and copper alloys. This process may be the most challenging to master, but grants the operator great control over the weld allowing for stronger, high quality welds.
